An Afterparty Bride Styled Shoot

Whew! It has been a while hasn't it?

We finally did another styled shoot!

And oh boy what a rush this one was.

AfterParty Bride: Singapore's First Bridal Mini Studio

You know how sometimes you meet someone, and you somehow instantly knew you were gonna be friends?

When AfterParty Bride first approached us to style a shoot for them, we knew this was gonna be a crazy fun one.

We jumped on the opportunity to show our support for their lovely mini-gowns, brought in the best minds for it to shoot, found a random dude on the streets and organized a party... for ourselves.

Honestly, I barely recalled half of it due to the fact we were all pretty much drunk enough to be throwing up our guts on the curbside. But the gist of it is we were discussing the shoot details and brainstorming the design concept over Beer and Soju before we felt it coming back up our throats.

I Swear, We Are Professionals

Ever tried to puke professionally?

Trust me. You can.

It involves holding it in till you're out of sight.

Anyhooo... if you're doing a shoot for a bridal studio named AfterParty, it makes sense to have it party themed doesn't it?

We of course injected in the usual "The Wedding People Weirdness" into it and had the models dead drunk during the shoot. Not literally though. they are after all professionals just like us.

We had this idea to style different areas, and shove the direction toward what we envisioned. That included the vibes of the photos, poses, the hair and make up, the general decor. We wanted it to be FUN FUN FUN.

So we split the ideas up, and had our team style an area while another area is shooting.

Psychedelic Rock

Inspired by Punk Rock, Magazine cut outs, and graffiti, the reception counter, stage and aisle was transformed into a vibrant wonderland of colour blocking.
